·   Children of Prisoners Ministry (program to support children of incarcerated parents)

CEF founder, Jesse Overholtzer, felt the Lord’s purpose to evangelize children. The Lord led Jesse to the special ministry of youth through his study of Scripture. The Lord revealed many passages that underscored the Lord’s love of children, for example:

"...your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish." Matthew 18:14

"...faith comes by hearing, that is, hearing the good news about Christ"  Romans 10:17

"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them. For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."  Matthew 19:14
